Do I have to own a home?
HMC
only makes loans on real property, so you either need to own your own home,
or be in the process of buying a home.
Do
I need equity in my home?
No!
HMC has loan programs to lend up to 100% of the value of your home.
Will
anybody else see my information?
No.
Our website is fully secure, and all the information given to HMC will
be held in the strictest confidence.
How
long have you been in business?
HMC
started doing business in 1992 as Home Mortgage Corporation and became
a division of North County Real Estate Inc. in May of 1994.
Can
you do business in my state?
North
County Real Estate Inc. d.b.a HMC Funding is a licensed Mortgage Banker
in over 15 states. (See list of approved states on about
us page.)
How
do I sign the loan papers?
Once
your application is approved, the loan papers will be sent directly to
you, allowing you to sign in the comfort & privacy of your own home.
However, other arrangements can be made, at your request.

If

What
if I have special loan circumstances?
At
HMC, we understand that each of our clients is a unique individual, with
his or her own special needs and circumstances. So well try to find
a way to accommodate you, if possible.
What
are your interest rates?
Just
like auto insurance rates, interest rates can depend on several factors.
As a result, it would be unfair to quote you a specific rate, since your
own situation could vary. However, rest assured that we have flexible programs
to address virtually any situation, with very competitive rates.
How
long does it take to get a loan?
In
most cases it takes two to four weeks to process your loan.
How
will I know if my application has been approved?
An
HMC loan officer will be in contact with you throughout the loan application
process.
Are
there any tax benefits?
Mortgage
interest may indeed be tax deductible. Please see your tax consultant.
